From Bandung to the Asia Final: Our Triumph at TECH PLANTER Asia Final 2025

On August 23, 2025, we had the honor of joining the TECH PLANTER Asia Final 2025, held at the Aerodyne Campus in Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia. The event brought together some of the most innovative startups and research teams from across Southeast Asia and Japan, and we are proud to have been part of this incredible gathering.

Standing Among Innovators

Alongside thirteen other finalists, we presented our deep-tech solution in front of distinguished judges and industry leaders. Each team brought remarkable ideas in areas such as AI, biotechnology, agri-tech, clean energy, and sustainability. It was truly inspiring to stand shoulder to shoulder with such innovators.

Our Coffee Leather Journey

We presented our innovation, Coffee Leather, a sustainable material made by transforming coffee skin waste into an alternative to plastic-based synthetic leather. Our mission is to tackle agricultural waste while creating stylish, scalable solutions for the fashion and lifestyle industries.

Through this vision, we were honored to receive the UntroD Award, including a prize of 4,000 MYR. More than the award itself, this recognition means the world to us because it highlights our commitment to sustainability and validates the global potential of our innovation.

A Stage for Collaboration and Growth

The TECH PLANTER Asia Final was not only about competition—it was about connection. The event gave us the chance to engage with industry leaders, investors, and fellow entrepreneurs, opening doors to potential collaborations. The feedback and encouragement we received reinforced our belief that our work has a real role to play in the future of sustainable materials.

What This Achievement Means to Us

Winning the UntroD Award is a milestone in our journey. For us, it signifies:

  • Sustainable innovation: turning something as ordinary as coffee waste into a valuable, eco-friendly material.

  • Market readiness: showing that sustainability and style can go hand in hand.

  • Global opportunity: gaining recognition from international brands and partners who share our vision.

THE JOURNEY SO FAR

Indonesia is the third largest coffee producer in the world. We produce 800.000 ton of coffee every year. We only harvest the coffee beans, while the rest are being thrown away.

Currently Bell Process more than 2 Tons of Coffee waste a month producing 300 sqm of M-Tex every month. We Aim to create an Inclusive ecosystem so that everyone can use our sustainable solution.

We've made various kinds of product made by utilizing the materials that we produce. From fashion to furniture, we've done it all. Let's collaborate further together!
